About Us

Who are we?

Tric Entertainment was an idea formed by founder T.K after a long discussion with a customer. She owned a clothing store and was searching for in her words "high-flying" bartenders to entertain her staff. She said that this type of entertainment bartender had declined in nightclubs, she then resorted to Google to try find her "high-flying" bartender. Failing to find anything she said she was resigned to just hire her local nightclub. After she and her staff had a great night being entertained by founder T.K, she asked T.K for his business card, which he did not have one. She suggested he get one as she and others like her would hire him in an instant. This is where Tric Entertainment was born.

Who is founder T.K?

T.K has been in hospitality as a bartender, bar manager and most other positions in hospitality for over 10 years. He has certificates in dance and drama, competed in Latin/ballroom dance competitions, and toured with a Performing arts tour team across New Zealand. He has been entertaining audiences from a young age and has brought this passion for entertainment into his hospitality career. His 1st step in entertainment was at the age of 6 dancing on stage selling and advertising MC Hammer pants.

So what is a Tric Bartender?

At the most basic, we do tricks. To expand on that; Tric bartenders rather than having the sole objective of serving beverages, they have an equal importance objective of entertaining their clients. So what does that mean? Tric bartenders are all-rounders they bring energy and hype using tricks like flairing, cocktails, dancing and sheer dynamic service to entertain clients. As founder TK likes to say.

"A bar is not just a bar, it can be a stage too".

Why hire us?

1. Well for starters we come with a bar, this bar is not a simple tabletop. This is a portable bar that has a properly insulated ice well with fast-racks, and a stainless steel cocktail workstation that you tend to only find in a nightclub or restaurant bar. According to our staff, this portable bar is better than most nightclub workstations they have worked at.

2. We come with all accoutrements including juice dispensers, Boston shakers, hawthorns, mudlers, and cocktail blenders.

3. Experienced staff, our staff have been in hospitality for many years, working all over Auckland.
